Before my wife,
Nancy and I took up residence in Scotland,
The Highlands had become our favourite holiday destination.
So after moving here we had to find an alternative.
With our love of
wildlife, Africa seemed a natural choice,
and our first visit - to The Gambia in
2003 only whetted our appetite. Our
second visit in 2005 prompted
us to start keep diaries, later turning these into the photo-diaries on our
website here.
We have logged our daily adventures from the mountainous volcano
refuge of the mountain gorilla in
Rwanda, across the vast plains of Kenya
and Tanzania, Botswana's Okavango Delta,
Zambia's Victorial Falls - right across
to Namibia's Atlantic Skeleton Coast. We
hope this gives some insight for those
considering such a trip, as well as
providing fond memories for the many
travellers with whom we have shared our
adventures. |
