For many years Scotland has been a favourite destinaton for tourists from all over the world. Many are attracted by its stunning unspoilt landscape, whilst some are drawn to explore its rich history. For others however, the main attraction is its diverse wildlife. From the ridges of its mountainous terrain, and down through the glens, woodlands and lochs to its shores, Scotland holds much of Britain's rarest wildlife. Bill Cuthbert, a keen amateur photographer with a particular interest for wildlife has compiled this range of images since arriving in Scotland from the north of England in 2000 to Strathspey and a new home within the Cairngorms National Park of Highland Scotland. Also included, are a series of photograhphic diaries recorded on various safari-style holidays that Bill and his wife Nancy have undertaken to Africa and India to capture images, not only of the animals, but of the places and people that share their habitat.
